About Brian Shah
I am an ordinary, average guy with a couple of things to say…
What defines a person? Is it where he lives? What he does for a living? What his hobbies are? His disposition? Who he spends his time with? The things he collects?
I am a natural-born American citizen. I was born and raised in the Midwest. I love living in Wisconsin, and I consider it the most beautiful state in the nation. The scenery, the culture, and the people are all wonderful.
I work for a government agency. I also work part-time in a retail store for a clothing company. I like helping people through my work, and I am able to do so in both positions.
My hobbies include playing guitar (not very well), cycling, tossing the football, golfing, gaming, reading, and writing (hence the blog). I also enjoy socializing with friends. I’ll admit: I enjoy a good, flavorful beer, especially those brewed by microbreweries in Wisconsin (as well as English and Scottish ales and Irish stouts).
I am a pretty laid-back, down to earth person. I like to finish things at a moderate pace, but I also step up when I need to complete something quickly. I’m also compassionate towards other people. Most people consider me friendly, thoughtful, and humorous. Some people also consider me sarcastic at times. But I’m generally pretty friendly.
I spend much of my time with my fiancee. I also hang out with friends, coworkers, and family.
Being a guitarist, I have a couple of nice guitars… nothing worth anything, but they play really well (hence, I collect to play them, not to lock them up). I also collect a lot of junk mail… I usually keep this in the circular file, which I then archive in the dumpster.
I tend to rattle off about things here or there that most people may not care about. It doesn’t seem to matter, because I still rattle off about them anyway. There are people that discuss these things with me: my fiancee, family, friends, and coworkers… yeah, they don’t seem to care much either. I lean towards the left… bad right hip; I’m always stretching it.
… Or, you can just read my site and learn more about what makes me tick. Enjoy.
