Back to building a desk

Sunday, September 15th, 2002

I’ve received some positive feedback on the new site. Thanks to everyone for visiting and letting me know what you think.

I’m glad to report that work on the desk resumed today. It’s really starting to take shape as a finished product. Today, Chuck and I applied most of the edging to the panels and tops. Although a little more edging is required, we’re almost to the point of routing, preparing the final assembly of the support apron, and putting the final hardware together. Then, Emil and I will stain and finish it. The end of the project is near… I can’t wait to report its completion.

New site launched

Wednesday, September 11th, 2002

Today marks the one-year anniversary of the vicious attack on America. Our resolve is strong, our spirits high, and our hearts filled with determination. We will continue to prevail, as we have done since the beginning of this great nation. The world joins us in remembering the terror that occurred… God Bless us all!

I’ve decided to pull the trigger and update my site. I hope you enjoy it.

For those of you that have seen my site before, you’ll notice that the site has a different appearance. Much of the content hasn’t changed much, although I have written new parts of “My Bio.” I’ve also added some new photos and “My Soapbox” articles.

You’ll also notice that I’ve got a new picture above. The guitar is a picture of my new Strat (the actual picture is in “My Scrapbook”). The dragon should look familiar from the previous site.

Speaking of old sites, I am still working on putting together a montage of screen shots from the old sites. They won’t be active, but they give you an idea of how this site has evolved over time.

Please let me know what you think of the new site. Thanks for visiting.

Site going live soon

Friday, September 6th, 2002

The site goes live Sunday night. I will add pictures over the weekend and have the site ready to go.

Not much has been happening here. Just working, a little golfing, and a lot of shredding (um, guitar playing).
